Kot360 only uses what is strictly necessary to make the website and the app work. We do not use analytics, tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not let other companies place cookies through our website. That is why you do not see a cookie banner: under the Belgian Electronic Communications Act and the ePrivacy Directive, strictly necessary cookies do not need your consent. We do have to tell you about them, which is what this page does.

1. Cookies we place

Name What for How long Type
kot360-session Keeps you logged in while you use Kot360, remembers your language and protects forms Until 2 hours after your last action Strictly necessary
XSRF-TOKEN Protects forms against requests sent by other websites (CSRF protection) Same as the session Strictly necessary
remember_web_… Keeps you logged in on this device, only when you tick "Keep me logged in on this device" Up to 400 days, or until you log out Necessary for the function you ask for

These cookies are only readable by Kot360, are sent over HTTPS and do not follow you on other websites.

2. Other storage on your device

  • Offline page (app): the Kot360 app stores a small offline page and our logo on your device, so it can show a message when you have no connection. This contains no personal data.
  • Push notifications: only when you allow notifications, your browser creates a subscription that we store to send you messages. You can turn this off at any time in your browser or in the app.
  • We do not store personal data in your browser's local storage.

3. Content loaded from other services

Some parts of the website are loaded from other services. They do not place cookies through Kot360, but your browser does send them your IP address, like for any web page:

  • OpenStreetMap (OpenStreetMap Foundation, United Kingdom): the map tiles on the search map.
  • Google Fonts (Google): the fonts of the website.

More about these services and the protection of your data is in our privacy policy.

4. Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the strictly necessary cookies, you cannot log in and forms will not work. Logging out removes the "keep me logged in" cookie.
